The Bhagwati Temple, dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati, is situated in Dhamapur, between Kudal and Malvan. The main deity of the temple is believed to fulfil every wish and is decorated with flowers and ornaments. The offering by devotees for fulfilment of their wishes is known as Nawas Phedane in the local language.The Dhamapur Lake is also situated within the premises of the temple and is regarded as one of the largest lakes in the district. This artificial lake was built by King Nagesh Desai in 1530. It is famous for coconut and mango plantations and its crystal clear water.
